How it works...
SS&T Membership will contact families on our waitlist for membership opportunities. If your email or phone number has changed since registering for the waitlist, please send an update to Membership Director. If your family uses two last names, please remember to use the same one for both the waitlist and when contacting SS&T.
All families (no guests please) currently on the waitlist are allowed to use the pool twice per season with the exception of the last day of school for SPS and holidays.

As we move into each new season, we like to communicate with the many families on our waitlist the process we follow to offer membership and access to our SS&T. The Club, per Sudbury Board of Health, cannot have more than 210 families as members at any one time. These 210 families have are what we consider 'senior memberships'. Eventually, (in a few years time) you will be offered a senior membership or a seasonal rental so I wanted to give you as much information to clarify how our membership process works. There are two ways that you may become active at our club for an entire season.
1) A current senior membership family may resign their senior membership and we then offer that spot to the next family at the top of the waitlist. In this scenario, you are offered a senior membership. You may accept or decline that offer. If you decline the offer, unfortunately, you will be removed from our waitlist. If you accept the offer you have 30 days to pay both our initiation fee and our annual dues. At the time of payment, you will then be a senior member of the club. We should know how many families are resigning and how many senior memberships we have to offer by mid to late February.
2) A current senior membership family may 'rent out' their membership spot for a summer/season and we then offer a waitlist family a chance to 'rent in' as seasonal rental families for a season. We will know how many families are renting out their spot by the end of February at which time we will then offer seasonal rental spots to those families at the top of the waitlist. If you do not want to rent in a spot for that year, your waitlist position will not change and you will remain on the waitlist. If you accept a rental spot, you have 30 days to pay the annual dues. (Seasonal rental families do not pay our initiation fee.) Seasonal rental families have access to all of the social events, teams, and lessons offered at the club.
With both of these scenarios, once a membership or rental offer has been made it is critical that we hear back from you as soon as possible about whether you accept or decline either the senior membership or the rental spot. Typically, we expect senior membership replies within 7 days and rental replies within a few days (payment is not due for 30 days). As you can imagine, we cannot wait 30 days between each offer as it would not be feasible to fill all the open spots before summer. So please let me know your intentions as soon as possible and within the deadlines given when you are offered membership or rental.
We also offer a limited number of 'August family passes' to the families to the top of the waitlist who may not want to be at the club for the entire season. You can decline a seasonal rental offer and accept an August family pass but you cannot decline a senior membership offer for an August family pass. These August family passes are only for the month of August through Labor Day. Limited lessons and social events occur in August but August pass families may participate.
Please let me know if your contact information has changed. You will be removed from the waitlist if we cannot reach you with a reasonable amount of effort.
