Pool Rules

GENERAL POOL RULES

GENERAL POOL RULES:  These rules are in place to help ensure the safety of our members. Please ensure that your children are aware of these rules. They will be enforced by the swim staff.

1.  Always walk.

2.  No GLASS containers. Iced tea, Snapple, beer or wine should NOT come through the front door if they are in glass containers. Please use plastic cups. If you forget plastic cups, ask our staff for one.

3.  Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers in a method approved by the Pool Manager.

4.  No roughhousing in and out of the water.

5.  You must be 10 years old or going into the 5th grade to be here without an adult until 6pm. You must be 14 years or older to stay after 6pm without an adult.

6.  Adult swim is a great time for children to have a bathroom break, snack or reapply sunscreen.

7.   Parents must supervise their children at all times in all areas of the Club. This includes the swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court and Clubhouse. Lifeguards are here to safeguard swimmers.

8.  There are no inflatable toys or flotation devices allowed in the pool except during certain club-organized activities. This includes any swimming aid that is worn or otherwise attached to the body. The only acceptable flotation aids are the "noodles" that are provided by the club.

9.  No swimmer is permitted outside of the main pool's 3-foot shallow area unless they are able to swim 25 yards x 2 (down & back) without stopping, and then tread water for 1 minute, under the supervision of a lifeguard. No child is permitted to use the diving board without passing the swim test.  A non-swimmer can be taken into our deepwater areas by an adult who has the swimming ability to pass the swim test. The adult must be in the water and in contact with the non-swimmer at all times.

10.    When you use the grill, please turn off the gas when done.  Please clean the inside of the grill and wipe down the "counters" of the grill. Please wash all grill utensils and place them back in the outside closet next to the ladies' room. Ask the guards on duty where the dish detergent, Clorox wipes, and other supplies are located. We have all of the cleaning supplies needed to clean up the grill and eating area. Thank you!

11.    Please make sure all trash is thrown away and tables are cleared off and wiped clean before you leave the club.

12.   Please sign daily and enter any guests in the Guest binder under your family name. Guest fees are $10 per guest.

Most of all stay safe and have FUN!
